Bobby Jones clubs top the leaderboard

Bobby Jones drivers have become the latest of the company's products to be voted the best in their class by the independent golf equipment testing website rankmark.com.

The innovative Bobby Jones hybrids and the company's range of fairway woods are also currently ranked first in their class by the site.

Under rankmark.com methodology amateur golfers of varying handicaps carry out the testing which is overseen by a PGA tour professional.

Testers are divided by handicap into three separate groups and are asked to rank the clubs based on their shot accuracy and trajectory or distance, dependant on the type of club being tested.

Bobby Jones drivers were ranked at number one by 139 testers in the most recent round of testing carried out in January, the hybrids and fairway woods were tested in March 2007 and April 2007 respectively.

Winning acclaim and awards is not an unusual experience for the Bobby Jones hybrids, having been named National Club Golfer 'Hybrid of the Year' in 2006 and being Golf Digest 'Hotlist' medal winners for the last three years running.

A 30 minute infomercial which demonstrates the exceptional performance of the Bobby Jones hybrid is currently being shown on the Setanta Golf Channel and on the Golf TV Pro Shop Channel and will continue to do so for the rest of the year.

Bobby Jones Europe will be shortly be releasing the Workshop Edition Driver designed by master craftsman Jessie Ortiz and the revolutionary Pelz Wedge Collection, a groundbreaking collaboration between Ortiz and short game guru Dave Pelz.
