Bobby Jones secure Ladies Scottish Open sponsorship

Bobby Jones Europe is thrilled to be an associate sponsor of the Ladies Scottish Open held at the Carrick at De Vere Deluxe's Cameron House hotel.

As part of the sponsorship of the event the innovative golf equipment and apparel brand will have on course branding and will host VIP corporate hospitality.

A Bobby Jones tournament marquee offering the company's high performance clubs, including the award-wining Hybrids and stylish apparel ranges will be available to spectators at exclusive privileged rates.

Bobby Jones will be entering a team into the Pro-Am tournament held on 30 April which acts as a curtain raiser to the Open which begins on May 1 and concludes on May 3.

The championship will be covered on both Setanta Sports and Sky Sports and features Claire Queen, playing on her home course, and last year's winner Sophie Gustafson in the field of entrants aiming for glory..

Bobby Jones is the only golf brand sponsor of the event and will also act as an associate sponsor for the PGA Seniors Championship held at Slaley Hall later in the year.

An association with high profile tournament being held at such a top class venue as the Carrick at De Vere Deluxe's Cameron House hotel is highly appropriate for the company which takes its name from the greatest and most successful amateur golfer of all time, Robert Tyre Jones.

During his brilliant career he claimed the first and so far only true grand slam winning the US and UK opens and the US and UK Amateurs in 1930 and also claimed a haul of 13 majors during his career.
